"Sprinklers and smoke alarm went off at 1 a.m. causing two floors to be evacuated, After a 45 minute wait we were allowed back in our room. Needless to say, ruined our stay."

Very clean, great staff, nice breakfast area with lots of cute places to sit and feel a little more separate than a bunch of square tables bunched together in a room like many hotels. Great location (Tim Horton's and Walmart very close by, as well as many other stores and restaurants). Very easy access back onto I96 as well. Highly recommend! "

"I reserved 2 rooms. Neither room had hot water for showers. It was an important weekend and we could not shower. I was told a manager would call me. Never received a phone call."

"The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. My air conditioner/heating unit did not seem to be working, so I was too warm both nights of my stay. The lobby seemed to be fairly nice, clean, well kept. Other public spaces - hallways, elevators - were in poor shape. Carpets worn and things were dirty. Visibly dirty. I did not use the pool or the arcade, but I thought the vintage arcade games were a nice touch. The bar and restaurant, Tanglewood, was a mistake I won’t make again. Food was below...

"Room is clean. The hotel is clean, morning breakfast was good and the kids enjoyed it. Walking amenities to Meijer and Kroger as well some restaurants. Definitely recommend this place when needing a place at Lansing. "

"Some staffs was great but some was not helpfull. My room was accidentally cleared during my stay so I had to contact the staff to get my stuff back. At the end, I got my stuff back but the used clothes got mixed up with the clean one. I need to wash them but the staff didn't try helping (the washing machines only receive ¢25) so I couldn't wash them."

"The tubs could've been cleaner, had less hard water, and the WiFi could've been less spotty but overall the hotel was very immaculate, had excellent waitstaff, a nice large pool, a separate area for smoking which is a lifesaver for an asthmatic and decent breakfast offerings. You really can't complain. If this was an apartment It wouldn't be decent "

"my experience staying at Baymont was having to sleep with the roaches and when i asked for a room change, they could not accommodate me do to the hotel was full so i understandable. wasn't to please with staff they would always over talk you so they didn't have to answer any more question. wasn't to please with the hotel."

"This is our fav hotel when we go to east lansing. Clean, comfortable bed, well maintain, easy parking. Good breakfast esp the coffee!"
