"We had a perfectly fine stay here and the staff were very accommodating - not sure why others have rated this place as unsafe. We needed to check in late after the front desk closed at 8 pm, but called ahead and the staff had no issues keeping it open for us. Rooms were clean and we enjoyed the art on the walls that gave a sense of the region's history. We also highly recommend getting breakfast at the Chocolate Moose just down the street - great coffee, sandwiches, and atmosphere!"

"Clean room, good breakfast and quiet, good bed, older hotel that’s been updated, small elevator, my only complaint is the workers there smoke right outside the entrance to the hotel, not good for asthmatic’s( my husband). I would recommend this hotel"

"The property shared an entrance with a fast-food restaurant, so it is confusing the first time there. Location made it easy to walk to several restaurants and eateries. The rooms were clean and enjoyable."

"We loved the quiet 'cabin in the woods' experience. We built a fire outside at night. There were deer feeding in the campground near our cabin. But then we had the feel of a comfortable hotel room inside with all the amenities."
