"We were definitely disappointed with our stay. At check in, we were informed that the pool and hot tub were closed for renovation. And while they did offer a full refund if we wanted to book elsewhere-that would have been very stressful to do after a long drive. We may have booked elsewhere had we known prior to checking in. The hotel is more of a motel feel and is right next to the highway so the road noise was fairly loud in the rooms at night. The breakfast was disappointing. Being served food, at the bar, was ok but the service was not very welcoming and the food wasn't very consistent. The food on day 1 was ok, but on days 2 and 3 it was cold or burnt. The pictures on their website of the breakfast was not accurate at all. The bathroom was in bad shape. The floor of the bathtub was stained and torn up, the shower curtain bar almost fell off while I was in the shower, and the shower head was actually hanging off the wall. It was also not well maintained: discolored caulking & stained floors. There wasn't an exhaust fan in the bathroom so we had to wait a while for the steam to clear out of the bathroom before we could dry our hair. We did let the front desk know about the shower curtain rod and shower head and they did tighten the shower curtain rod. The Lounge is a great idea and it was really nice to be able to grab some food and drinks later in the evening. The bar staff was very friendly and the food was good bar food. "

"Great location, walkable distance to a Main Street for food and shopping. Had a one night stay with family. Free parking. Indoor pool was good. Breakfast options were decent. Staff were helpful."

"The room was not clean at all. I don't know the last time it had been. Couldn't use the shower. We left and didn't even stay there to get some rest before continuing out drive. Do not recommend at all. "

"Parking lot very clean with ample parking spaces. Property is very old and run down. Hallway carpeting smells musty and of old cigarettes. Good size bathroom, very clean. Appropriate toiletries provided. Bathroom towels very thin and low quality. Beds and pillows very lumpy. Breakfast layout is pathetic. On a positive note, staff members from all shifts were extremely pleasant. Per front desk staff, hotel does not have an elevator, so we stayed on the first floor. Owners need to invest more in the property upkeep and maintenance, if they want repeat customers."

"when i saw that this place was a bread and breakfast, my wary antennas shot up, but our stay in cherry valley manor was absolutely royal! we stayed in the royal treatment room, and it truly was royal! it had a vintage style and vibe, but all the furniture were brand new condition so it felt like we were in a palace. we hope to come back and try out the tiffany room next occasion! the atmosphere was calm peaceful warm and inviting! it was perfect for a nice getaway with my husband. it was clean and well kept, it felt like we were the first ones staying in our suite! the bathroom was truly royal, no words can describe. we didn't hear any noise from other rooms, probably due to the fact that there are no kids. it came with good quality amenities. the bathrobe was so cozy. the manor is for couples only, we only realized this after we booked, but they were very flexible and let us bring our 1 year old baby. we really got our moneys worth! it is located near the Delaware water gap, and there is a small cute farm/zoo in the area, they also have lost river caverns which was nice. we went hiking in hickory run state park on the shadows of death trail. it was an easy trail with stunning waterfalls! "
