Hilo Reeds Bay Hotel

"Generally this is a good place to stay. The view is fantastic and you can see the bay from the balcony of the room directly. The only issue is that there is no AC. Therefore, it is not a good idea to live here if the weather is too hot. The facilities are a little bit old but it still well deserves the price. If you are pursuing quality-price ratio, this is a very good choice."

"Loved the large pool..multiple slides for the kids and plenty of seating. Beautiful grounds and nice condo style rooms. Close to restaurants and shops.. a great stay!"

"Loved the view of Coconut Island and being able to explore near by. Didn't like the ripped/stained curtains for the lanai. Restraunt was excellent. Vending machine gave us warm sodas and ice machine didnt work majority of the time for the floor we were on."

"Definitely stay here! The rooms are lovely as are the hosts. It's right on the water, a short walk or drive to the main shops & farmers market. Also a short drive to many lovely beaches. The breakfast was incredible - and they even accomodated gluten-free. Really great overall, great deal and we'll stay again if on Hilo!"

"The room came with an amazing view and had good facilities. We unfortunately didn't get a chance to use the hot tub but it would've been lovely with the sunset. The kitchenette was well stocked and the room and hostel was very clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend for someone to stay here."
