"This a very quaint place to stay. The scenery and closeness to the beach and Devil’s Punch Bowl were great. The hotel offered DVD’s and had a very old school charm. They were great with getting your luggage to and from your room. If you are looking for quiet and laidback, this is your place."

"You could hear the rain, wind and surf and see the trees blowing like crazy outside. In the yurt, l have never felt so warm, cozy, safe and content. The bed was so comfortable and warm (they use mattress pad heaters). I haven't slept that good in a very long time! There are fans and an electric fireplace. The staff were all friendly and helpful. "Came to the hotel late evening was told that expedia overbooked this hotel more than 20 rooms and we are one of them. Was told to contact manager on Monday , to get refund, has to contact expedia as well. Basically we would have to stay in the car for a night because all hotels in the area were already booked out. We went home with 2 hours driving back. Now we are hoping for refund and recommend always to call directly to hotel make sure you are not spending night on the street."
