"We stayed one night at this hotel and it was the worst experience of our life! We parked across the street of the Galleon Hotel and asked the check-in lady if it was ok to park there for the night. She stated it was not a problem. Upon check in our room was dingy, dusty and old with a shared bathroom. We asked to upgrade our room with a private bathroom and she said it would be $80 cash. "Stay was really good just didn’t like that the property is literally closed after 12am , no vending no water even or access to food or anything. On the other hand hang with Lisa and Jay down at the pool bar they are great. Food is really tasty and room is very clean for check in. They don’t offer any cleaning during the stay however it’s fine to clean up behind myself lol. Staff was very helpful and friendly as well. "This was a wonderful property! It is definitely an older hotel- but that is the charm! The new owners are clearly taking loving care of it. In that district, everything is older, and it is very well maintained and clean. It is in a PERFECT location to talk to some great places to eat, shop, or get coffee. "The hotel os very clean and bright. Helpful staff. The rooms are clean and new and organized in a way that flows well."

"Had a very nice time staying at Sapphire Resort. The sargassum was a bummer but the staff took very good care of it so the beach could still be easily accessible. My husband and I did hours of snorkeling and found some pretty neat fish/invertebrates. Our condo was clean and had a very comfortable bed. The bar and pool were also great. Would definitely do it again!"

I tried to reach them a week before the trip, a couple of days before the trip and then when I arrived in St Thomas. I finally got in touch with Ronita as we were pulling up to the apartments.
