"Beautiful property, really enjoyed the building and having a Murano glass chandelier ! Staff was lovely and attentive, my only reason for 4 stars is the AC was not working, in the second floor it got hot very quickly, it was cool enough that an open window would fix it but then so many mosquitos got it ! Either working AC unit (each room had one it just blew hot air) or a screen on the windows so I can open would have made the stay perfect . Great area felt very safe as a solo female "

"Hotel is a little gem. On a quiet street with a lovely green garden/parking area in the back. Breakfast was abundant and wonderful, especially served by the warm and welcoming Grazia and her colleagues. Sweet park with tiny carousel and lots of children at the end of the block. If you master the bus network the area is well served, and even without, almost everything is still in walking distance. We would gladly return."

"I loved my stay at Porta Alla Croce Guest House! Sergio and his wife were so incredibly kind and accommodating, even when my travel and check-in was delayed and it took me longer than expected to arrive on my first night. Sergio took the time to point out all of the major tourism points of interest to me on a map when I checked in, and even gave me some recommendations for food and other activities in the area (which I happily took, and they were great!).
