"Lets start with the good: nice beach, great pool, nice garden, friendly staff, comfy beds, family friendly with lots of kids. Unfortunately for me there were a few things that stood out negatively: Rooms are not really clean (had a big wad of black hair in my balcony that no one removed in days). The bathroom is huge but very outdated, the shower head is so low that I as a small woman didn’t fit under it. If you used all the pressure then you flooded the entire bathroom. The room was also...

"The resort was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - especially the fresh pastries and the omelette bar manned by Heinz. The snorkeling right off shore was fabulous. If we ever are able to return to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora again!"

"Nice clean hotel, close to down town, port and shops. The Jr suite looked like it has a kitchen in the photos, but there is not even a microwave in the room! There is a refrigerator and kitchen sink but no kitchen supplies or means to cook. Other than that it was nice, however the hotel could do a little more updating - many places where paint is missing or discolored, and tiles broken, and the spa was cold not hot! "One of my favorite things about Manava was the authentic Polynesian vibe. Beautiful place, wonderful staff. Loved being able to snorkel off our own deck - did a premium overwater bungalow for 2 days and private soaking pool bungalow for 1 day. It was fun to experience both types of rooms. The beautiful infinity pool was amazing. We just had a wonderful stay and would love to return again!"
