"The Moorea Lagoon and Spa should definitely be on the top of your list, the accommodations were clean and are exactly as advertised. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. My wife is Celiac with allergies to Rice, Oats and Soy and each restaurant on site went out of their way to ensure that there was a meal she could eat and enjoy. "We love our stay here. It’s honestly the perfect place to stay in Moorea. The staff were so helpful and lovely. Also, it’s amazing that you can wake up and just jump to do some snorkeling. It was the best snorkeling in the entire island. We saw 3 big turtles, an octopus and so many pretty fish plus the water is so calm. Their pina colada’s were also amazing. We highly recommend this place."

"Pros: good location, clean, new. Cons: This is a very, very basic room. There was a desk, but no outlets to plug in a laptop, and no lights on or above the desk. No amenities like a coffee maker, toiletries (a bar of soap or tissues would be nice), microwave or refrigerator. Yet there was an ironing board in the closet, but no iron, and there was an ice maker in the hallway, but no ice bucket. No restaurant on site. "We stayed at Mai Tai Express for one night before a cruise. The hotel is no frills but fit our needs perfectly. Check in was easy, the room was comfortable, and we were a short walk from the ship. There was even a place to have breakfast fight next door. I would definitely recommend it for cruise passengers."

"This place is an absolute gem. The views are spectacular and the staff was super friendly. We got in super late so we did not realize that you needed to tell them if you wanted breakfast by 6:30am because they make only what they expect the number of guests to eat for the cute little buffet. "Location was amazing. So peaceful, quiet, and serene. Viewed sunset from deck chairs of our room. Small facility so beach walks not crowded with lots of tourists. Room a little small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - all so fresh. Secured parking on site. Only suggestion is to make guard gate electronic so aren’t required to get out of car to enter code. "
