"It was ok for a 1 night stay. We didn't use any of the facilities. Not as close to the city centre as I had in my head but that was my own fault."

"We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights toward the end of our trip to Scotland. The hotel is housed in an older building, but the bathrooms have been nicely updated. Overall, we found our room comfortable, although with the colder weather, it was somewhat difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature.
One important consideration is that the hotel does not have an elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs, depending on your room's location.
I also had breakfast at...

"I booked two rooms for my group, both rooms were the Townhouse Grand option. Upon arrival we were greeted by Mick who was very helpful and kind and assisted us with our bags as the hotel does not have a lift, which we were aware of. The rooms we were placed in were in the basement level and unfortunately you can hear everything in the rooms. The staff entrance is outside the rooms, which we learned due to people coming in loudly in the middle of the night. The first night we were woken up at...

"Really comfortable room in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
We loved our stay overall and thought the staff at reception and throughout the hotel were great.
The only thing I’d say is that the minibar replenishment was intermittent. While it was supposed to be refilled every day, we found that wasn’t the case, and finding a solution wasn’t straightforward when flagged with reception."

"Great pool area, rooms are good, bed was great.
I made a mistake during booking and tried to get in touch with the hotel and Expedia to fix it. But we could not reach the hotel by phone not in the evening not in the morning and when we checked in they could not offer us any help or compensation so we needed to spend 350 pounds for a night for two rooms we didn’t use."
