"The bar staff need some serious training, terrible service on Saturday evening , staff looked like university students clueless and zero customer service The room was ok, lots of fluff and dust under the bed, no I didn't deliberately check, I dropped something and saw it, the shower cubicle needs a good scrub too! And no fridge in the room!"

"Whilst everything was responsibly clean,some things where a bit dated and needed some tlc. Bed linen and towels where good quality. Staff where helpful and pleasant.Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.Parking was also a bonus. "Undergoing renovations during my stay so have to reserve judgement a bit. Room was clean and comfortable and small things do matter. Hot chocolate and biscuits were a much appreciated extra that I wasn’t expecting. WiFi worked fine for me and breakfast was good. "

"Windows not clean or shut so cold through the night Breakfast not great Room cost not worth it Bar closed early on a Saturday night But play area good for young children Evening meal in. The bar was nice though"

"The hotel it self is well located. Close to the Gunwharf Quays and in walking distance from the train station and the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. The staff was really friendly. Especially when I asked how to get to the D-Day Museum. Breakfast was well stocked with the basics. The I would say is the rooms could use an upgard. But if you are looking for a well located hotel. "The location is great the bathroom to our room was up some stairs from the bedroom the door opened out towards the stairs covering the handrail so could be a problem for some coming down the stairs from the bathroom.
