"This recently remodeled motel was completely charming. We had a room accessible directly from the parking lot, and it was decorated beautifully. The nautical theme extended throughout. The bathroom was large, beautifully tiled, and perfectly functional. Towels were changed daily. The bed and pillows were very comfortable with nice cotton sheets. We would stay there again."

"Decent Stay, But Room Condition Left a Lot to Be Desired... The location and staff were fine overall, but the condition of our room was disappointing. Cleanliness and amenities both fall well below what I'd expect from any hotel stay. On arrival, we noticed the room was not properly cleaned. Beyond that, there were some odd maintenance issues — a lightbulb was missing from a fixture, the carpet had been cut out in a section and not replaced cleanly, and the refrigerator ran so loudly throughout...

"This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink."

"The room itself was clean, the bed also seemed clean. There is no refrigerator/microwave. The biggest issue I had was with the bed, the bed needs a big upgrade. Every movement you would hear the metal springs crying out, I'm not sure if it's springs inside the mattress or the box spring, but it was annoying and uncomfortable."
