"Beautiful peaceful location but only 20 minutes from Lucca, very friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Room spacious and comfortable with a great view. Swimming pool great a really relaxing stay. Restaurant next door also very good food 😊"

"Hele sfeervolle accommodatie. Wij verbleven in een hotelkamer in het hoofdgebouw. Prima bed, ruime kamer en badkamer. Er zijn ook appartementen. Beetje een gevoel van een minidorpje. Uitsluitend restaurant. Lekker wijnen en hele schappelijke prijzen. Wij hebben genoten"

"The La Monastica resort was a wonderful place with a staff who were exceptionally welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The location and grounds were beautiful with some modern influences in decor but really maintaining the overall old world charm and aesthetic of the monastery. We really enjoyed time in the bar playing cards and drinking some great cocktails."

"Excellent stay. Convenient. Clean great staff"

"I found the hotel was very handy with the 24 hour desk especially as flight was delayed and missed the last train to Lucca and had to get a taxi. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and airy. Would highly recommend"

"This is a hostel but I booked a private room - this was an amazing room with a bed downstairs and the main bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It's in an amazing location and the view from my room was great"

"Unfortunately the air conditioning didn’t work in our room, so we were moved to another room. That one has an ant infestation. The next room we were given smelled like smokers. The only room left was clean but the a/c didn’t not blow cold air at all. Could not sleep because of temperature. Staff at desk was trying to be helpful."

"Loved the beautiful room and the attentive staff, the location is close to the Monticontini Centrale train and the town center . Did not use the pool but the area looked wonderful . FYI they charge a small fee to use pool towels . Breakfast was good , large selection of hot and cold foods."

"Très belle place. Comme si on était chez nous à la maison. Le staff est très serviable. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. La villa est à 15 minutes de marche du village historique et d'une grande épicerie."

"House has the feel of prior centuries, but is well maintained with modern conveniences. Two block from the old city on a quiet residential street. Three blocks away the other direction is a bakery and several restaurants. Supermarcato is within a reasonable walk"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel San Marco. Pietro was kind and knowledgeable and the staff at breakfast were also extremely nice and fast to respond. Breakfasts were fine and the room was very comfortable. The bar came in handy as well. Here are the only negatives: no facial tissues (not a huge deal but it was just a bit strange. So here's the only REAL problem: the cleaning staff were EXTREMELY loud starting at 8 AM in the hallway outside our room. Loud talking, laughing, banging stuff,...

"La habitación excelente. Aunque las habitaciones superiores están en un edificio como a 100 mts. del edificio principal."

"Hello, I’m contacting Expedia because I need assistance resolving an issue with my recent reservation. My reservation was for September 24–27 for 2 guests. I arrived at approximately 2:00 AM on September 25 and had an issue with parking/check-in. I showed the staff member my Expedia confirmation on my phone, which clearly showed the reservation information, including that it was for 2 guests. I asked the staff member where I was supposed to park, but I was not properly assisted. There was an...

"Valentina and Pietro were both amazing. Property location was perfect. Clean, different and facilities were excellent. Loved the fact that Valentina kept in touch all through our stay and sent helpful guides and map to us. Also lovely pictures of Lucca. We will return."

"Lovely hotel located near the train station and Old Lucca. Nice room and breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel."
