Aztec Ocean Resort

"The location was perfect, right on the pier. Our only issue was the walls are thin. The folks upstairs came back about 11:30 pm and walked back and forth (tapping loadly in heels or boots) and talking until a little after 2am. Also, someone in the group came back drunk or hurt, and let out a pained howl about every 10 to 15 minutes until around 2 am. We did not get much sleep. We did not call the front desk as we couldn't be bother to pack up and change rooms that late at night."

"We had two rooms between 3 travelers. One of the rooms all of the doors would stick in the jambs and would make a horribly loud noise when trying to close (both bathroom and external door). In the other room the doorknob to the bathroom was unscrewed and falling off the door so it didn't offer a ton of privacy. It was nice that they were located next to each other though. There is one ice machine and regardless of which way you come at it from you will have to take the stairs which isn't super accessible for everyone. The staff was very nice and the checkin and checkout process was very easy."
