Arrived early and we were accommodated with a ready room, and shuttle arranged to take us very efficiently to the airport day of our departure (only a 10-15 min drive away). Staff very professional - even down to tour of the included breakfast, which included hot food options and a beautiful spread of options. Would recommend!"

"Due to the bad weather our flight from Terceira to Sao Miguel was cancelled and rebooked by airline for two days later. As a result, we stayed at the hotel two nights less than we had paid for. We asked our travel agency for a refund and they attempted to contact the property multiple times to get an approval for a waiver, so we could get a refund. I then tried to contact the hotel myself two times, but didn't get any response. Not only the hotel didn't refund the money, but the hotel staff also...

"Overall a great experience. The check in process was not. The link to leave the security deposit had expired and it took 2h to get in touch with the company. Once we did though it was smooth sailing. The breakfast was great and the head staff was awesome. She made sure that we had everything we needed. For anyone who gets motion sickness this is NOT for you. The boat is constantly moving and rocking. "

"Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in der Premium Villa. Die große Sonnenterrasse mit viel Sonnenschein und eigenem Whirlpool haben uns sehr gefallen. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und war sauber. Das Frühstück bietet eine gute Auswahl. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die wirklich schlechte Kaffeemaschine von Nescafé. Diese sollte dringend gegen einen echten Vollautomaten ersetzt werden. Parkmöglichkeiten sind genügend vorhanden. Die Anbindung ist sehr gut, da das Hotel direkt hinter einer Schnellstraße...

"The Rock Guest House is a beautiful, well maintained facility. They served a wonderful continental breakfast and since we had to check out early, they provided us with a breakfast to go! Getting to the port was easy - just walk down the road. Going back was good exercise if you enjoy a gentle climb. We highly recommend it."

"Absolutely fantastic hotel. Our flight was cancelled so we found this local hotel and wow did it blow us away! The staff members were incredible and treated us so well! The hotel was clean and quiet and very well furnished. Plus it was so easy to walk to all the restaurants and shops. This is an amazing place!"
