We had a wonderful stay at Casa da Cidade! Pedro and Maria are incredible hosts who took great care of so many details for us! Great location close to the heart of Ponta Delgada and such a welcoming home to stay at!

This was the best stay that we have had while travelling for a very long time. The hosts were wonderful - helping us determine the best places to visit and dine (including off-the-beaten-track locations that we would not have found ourselves!). Delicious continental breakfast full of local Azorean foods. The property was full of character and kept very clean. Trincas, the very friendly and well-behaved family dog, was an excellent bonus! Thank you Pedro and Maria for the perfect base for our Sao Miguel adventures :)

The property is rustic home converted into a hotel, We had a courtyard view which was nice and big doors to let in light and fresh air. The stairs up to the room are circular so be weary if you have difficulty climbing with heavy luggage. It was relatively quiet with a comfortable bed. No air conditioning but a fan was provided. Mostly kept the windows open for fresh air. What really makes this place are the hosts which are friendly and gave great guidance in restaurants and where to visit on the island. The one word I would describe my stay was charming. I enjoyed my breakfast and their dog kept us company. Definitely would visit again.

Great stay, briljant hosts!

Geweldige B&B, super lieve en behulpzame gastfamilie. Heerlijk vers ontbijt en het centrum en haven bevinden zich op loopafstand. Dagelijks word je overladen met geweldige tips en suggesties, den ze hosts kennen het eiland op hun duimpje.

It was a pleasure to stay here, Piedro and Maria were very kind hosts. The Hotel was very nice with a great breakfast. We got a lot of recommendations about trips around the island.

I cannot recommend highly enough. Gracious and accommodating hosts and beautiful breakfast every morning in the courtyard. Location is central and very walkable.

Great hotel, easy access to city

Very comfortable beds. Great photos and decor. Owners offer personalized maps and suggestions for activities. Local breakfast that was delicious. Felt like you were living in Sao Miguel!

The location was perfect. Minutes of walking to downtown area restaurants and shops. There is a paid lot right next to the townhouse and another free lot a few streets away, very convenient for parking. Pedro was nice and accommodating, and his artwork throughout the townhouse is a extra plus for our stay.

What a wonderful place to stay, it felt like home. Pedro and Maria were wonderful hosts, eager to help us explore their beautiful island. Every morning as we enjoyed their island breakfast, Pedro would ask our plans for the day and then proceeded to reach into his handy folder and find a map for the region with sites to see and restaurant recommendations. The location was convenient to get in and out of the city, quiet and a simple walk to a variety of restaurants and sites. We had a wonderful time!

I think is the best place to stay. Pedro looked after us every morning with during the breakfast. He gave us all tha information for the day and asked about the day before. He was really amazing. And the house was wonderful. Everything comfortable and beautiful. Don't miss if you go to Ponta Delgada

I had a wonderful stay at Casa da Cidade. The property is perfectly located and very clean. The breakfast every morning was locally sourced and a wonderful way to start each day. The hosts are very gracious and help with planning your day or making suggestions on things to see. I would have missed these incredible stops, had it not been suggested to me. Hightly recommend.

Great place to stay in Ponta Delgada. The hotel is located in a very convenient place close to the downtown area. Many restaurant options within walking distance. The couple that runs the hotel are very personable and friendly. They offer great travel and restaurant recommendations. You should speak with them before going out everyday. They make their own jams for the breakfast as well which was delicious.
