"Was skeptical of a motel claiming to be the “best motel” but was pleasantly impressed by my stay. The guy working the check in was extremely friendly and left a lasting impression. "The Port Townsend Inn is a budget motel and it has been around a while. However, we had an enjoyable stay and were comfortable in our room and the area. The room was clean, and the air conditioning worked well, which was nice because it was a couple of hot days. "There was a bit of a fiasco with the reservation, not the motel's fault at all though. And when they couldn't find me they were about to give me a complimentary room until it got settled! Fortunately, it all got straightened out and I was able to go to my room. They were patient and friendly through the whole experience and gave me a bottled water.
