"Room was clean and modern. Though it was a tad bit dark. Great area for shopping and eating. Room was very clean. Bathroom sink tap was hard to use to wash your hands as it was too close to the side for proper usage. Would definitely stay there again. There was no safe in the room."

"It's a very old building with only stairs but staff was more than pleasant adverse helpful. They bought our luggage up to our room and then even brought it back down I highly recommend this place."

"Lovely hotel. Clean room. Exceptionally warm welcome from Micheal. Being shown to the room is a lovely touch, rather than being pointed in the direction of your room. We didn't have breakfast, but will next time. Car parking excellent. We will definitely return to this hotel and hopefully enjoy the amenities, as this visit we were just staying for one night and didn't have time enjoy the splendour of the hotel."

"Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival and lovely to speak to throughout our short stay. The hotel is immaculately kept and tastefully furnished. Our room was spacious (family room with a queen bed and bunk beds for our 2 children was a dream for them) and had great amenities. Bathroom was clean and basic toiletries were supplied along with shaving and dental kits. Enjoyed our short stay and would highly recommned."

"This bed-and-breakfast is wonderful. A very cute hotel with a very nice breakfast. The location is fabulous. Only a block away from the Portsmouth historical Harbour area which includes the Mary Rose Tudor ship Museum. Located across the street from the train, bus station, and the ferry terminal if you want to go to the Isle of Wight. It’s an adult only property so you have to be over 21 to stay there. I highly recommend it."

"Had an amazing stay in tasteful and clean bedroom with comfy bed lovely Pillows and great bathroom. Lots of tea and coffee. Had dinner and breakfast in the pub and they were really tasty. Properly cooked bacon! Great wine list with lots of option. Really lovely beer garden and covered courtyard. Lovely staff. Also v close to Hambledon so a good base to visit there. Really recommend. "

"The Copper Beeches is a 15 minute walk from the South Downs Way. I received a very warm welcome and my stay couldn’t have been better. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Thank you so much. "

"We didn’t give the hotel an excellent because the elevators were awfully slow. Yes, we were boarding a ship so were all the other guests at the hotel. Otherwise a beautiful hotel. One of the best breakfasts we’ve experienced!! Much variety of breakfast items, and all were delicious!!"

"A lovely hotel and lovely staff. Great location. We are in the bar and food was excellent as well. There was a slight hiccup on our arrival due to a delayed ferry but the staff couldn't do enough for us after that. We will definitely return and recover.mend it to anyone"

"we really enjoyed this hotel. They had an a spa that was included that had a steam room, sauna hot tub and a pool. We missed the Michelin star restaurant but the other restaurant on the sixth floor was also very good. Very spacious rooms with good views of the harbor we would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat."
