"Well fitted lounge and kitchen area which was very clean and well presented. Main bedroom was snug, 2nd bedroom would easily accomodare 3 children and bathroom was well fitted but with very temperamental shower. The whole propety was very clean and had the best towells I have ever come across in any accommodation! The Host has given a lot ofthought to guests with a great selection of videos,games and books The garden is sadly very overgrown and the site on which the chalet stands has very few facilities and quite isolated. Padstow was a £50 round trip in a taxi."

"We were touring England and Wales and arrived at the Pig before dining at Rick Stone’s in Padstow We were delighted that we chose to stay at the Pig We couldn’t fault the accommodation, the staff, all the location We would definitely stay here when we are next visiting the UK"

"This is a lovely hotel which we have stayed in before. Friendly, helpful staff and conveniently situated for a short walk to the beach & Mawgan Porth, coastal walks. Buffet breakfast has lots of choice but does run out quickly, staff are on hand to top up but you may need to wait for certain items. Hot breakfast is available for a surcharge, we found the buffet breakfast more than adequate. No air conditioning in the rooms but fans were provided and these were very effective in the recent heat. Our room overlooked the car park (only option available when booked due to half term) which was noisy from early in the morning with deliveries and trolleys being pushed around. Ate in the OGO restaurant which was lovely staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable great recommendation on the local Bauhaus wine 😊 will definitely stay again for a nice relaxing break with nice food, sunset views and amenities."

"I’d read bad reviews after booking so I was very worried. But we got a basic, decent chalet in a good location. It was quiet and safe. It needs a deep clean, mould on curtains, and cobwebs everywhere, but everything else was very clean. It was fine for the price we paid. Sykes cottages manage this chalet, but it’s Atlantic Bays reception, and they won’t know anything about your booking. We hadn’t been told our chalet number so couldn’t go to it until I’d rung Sykes (who didn’t have it on their system either) and waited for them to call the owner and call me back. Signal is poor so that was worrying. Find your chalet number before you arrive. WiFi isn’t free, you pay per device, but our chalet had good enough signal to use our phones. We were only given one roll of toilet paper, and no toiletries or oil/salt etc. I would have no problem staying here again, for a budget trip."

"Overall the stay was great. Perfect location for the drive to many close beaches. The lodge was clean and comfortable perfect for a short break. The only thing we would recommend is the number of the lodge and campsite name be added to the booking information as we found it difficult to locate. Other than that thank you for a pleasant stay."

"We had a lovely stay here, the lock wasn’t working from the outside but was fixed within half an hour, brilliant! Beds are comfortable and the sofa. A good size cottage the bathroom was abit tight but there are public showers on site aswell would definitely come back here. There’s a park on site aswell, laundry room a bar and reception are very helpful. I did have to drive to places Harlyn beach has calmer sea and was beautiful, few minutes drive away and treyarnon rock pool beach also a few minutes drive was amazing better for surf boards also has a hidden pool in the rocks"
