"I feel like you can pay maybe $20-30 cad more to be in the prime location as this is a bit far out. I'm sure there's public transport but I ubered for convenience, so the location wasn't super duper central. Zerooooo sound proofing at all. I can hear everything. "I stayed at Selina three years ago and had such a wonderful experience, which is why I chose to return this year. Unfortunately, this stay was really disappointing in comparison. Although the hostel advertises itself as a social space, we were informed just the day before arrival that it is moving away from that concept. Other travellers not considerate of others and no staff around at night to notice and deal with issues. (i.e. smoking in shared bathroom, drunk male returning middle of night, etc) Lounge area consists of a couch (sofa) in the kitchen area. Very near to tourist areas so location good."
