"The room was very small with a half window and half curtain covering a wall. The bath did not have conditioner and bath soap not refilled. Toilet did not flush properly. The bed was double bed, not queen. Breakfast was OK and the staff was helpful. One receptionist was very nice. Location not good, too far away from the Centre and not much at all around the hotel."

"Room was clean but very dated with many signs of wear - rust on the shower and towel heater, mould around the silicon on the sink . Old fashioned alarm clock which was so bright and unable to turn off was annonying and had to be covered with a towel. The shared areas and outside also feel dated and showed main signs of wear. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was Ok."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Rest. The bed was so comfortable, There was everything provided for your comfort. Good quality products. Nice table and chairs on the balcony. Drinks were brought up to us from the cafe/bar. Nothing was too much trouble. Parking is a little walk away but that's the small price for staying so central. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be staying here again when in Lincoln"

"This hotel exceeded my expectations. When you entered, the first thing that greets you is the fresh smell. Everything was so clean. Greeted by a staff member who spoke like he was in the ritz hotel. Old fashioned customer service. Wonderful! Room was clean, even the toiletries in the bathroom were good quality. Restaurants nearby. So pleased that we found this gem! Wouldn’t hesitate to go back."

"Expedia should be ashamed to charge for accommodation in what was a hostel for vagrants. During the period that access was unavailable to us, a neighbour told us that the Hamilton was used to house council-sent people, and we saw three such unfortunate people waiting to enter. My wife was frightened by the property when access was eventually gained, describing it as being like her idea of a prison, and I found it forbidding and inhospitable. We immediately left the building and luckily were able...

"Very Comfortable room and easy check in and out. Really nice surroundings, and good local walks. Pub was handy if a bit dated, great band in the garden and a lovely breakfast. Would go back if I need to be in the area again"

"Stayed here for 1 night in a triple room. Even though the room is ready for a bit of a refresh it was very clean and very comfortable. The hotel has nice areas for for a drink or something to eat or just to relax. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The breakfast was amazing."

"The place was cute, and the neighbor was very kind, he came out to talk to us when we were trying to figure out parking the first night. The drive isn’t big enough for any car larger than a Mini, but there’s ample space for parking on the curb. The only real downside was the amount of bugs within the property. Any corner that was looked at held spiders of considerable size. I don’t recommend this place to anyone who’s as sensitive to those things as I am. We sat on the back porch the first night...
