"We have just spent 3 nights here and can't speak highly. Our stay was very comfortable. Our room was very well equipped, clean. We had biscuits, teas coffe hot chocolate, water and milk and juice on our arrival. Everything you could need in the room. But if you did need anything the staff would be happy to help. The room and pub was so clean . The breakfast were your good and lots of it. Evening meals we ate there 2 nights and all meals very good. Although the fish option wasn't available...

"Easy to find and helpful staff when we arrived early . Light flickering in toilet but sorted by staff straight away . Found previous occupants half eaten Chinese takeaway still in the bin in the room which wasn’t great . Reported to reception all very apologetic but should really happen if housekeeping being done throughly . Maybe they just had an off day . Colleague in separate room only had one towel in the room, no bathmat and no hand towel but as a sole occupant she decided not to complain...

Has got a massive parking, also there is a kebab outside so if you are hungry it's perfect to buy food. "Not a great visit.receptionist a bit rude .I booked a standard room on the site it said it had a fridge it didnt .need this sorting out.very dismissive told me to go and sit down while he served the next customers.half an hour left .bizarre behaviour..Room smelt unpleasant even after a cple days and lots of air freshener.bed comfortable.house keepers very nice.lefr swimming shorts in changing room for half an hour. Went back had gone.bit sad!! New and not cheap. .."

"This place was in the most adorable town and made you feel connected to it. The hosts were phenomenal and if you’re lucky you might get a homemade chocolate cake while you’re there."

"I've stayed at the hotel multiple times and never had a problem until Wednesday 15th July. The building is obviously old so limited to what they can do, but second floors rooms in peak summer are like pizza ovens. The small ancient fan is not enough and I barely slept."

"This hotel has character although it could do with some tlc in places. They have a kids playground which my 6yr old loved. Also the staff are wonderful as I noted when my daughter fell out of bed one night during our stay and the staff were only interested in my daughters well being rather than the decorative candle holder that broke as she tumbled to the floor. I wish there were more hotels like this than the typical box hotel chains I find in the USA where I live. For those from the USA,...

"I had a warm welcome and my case was taken up to my room. The room was large with king sized bed. All clean, dated, but that suited the age of hotel! There was a small table with kettle and a selection of tea, coffee etc. Large en-suite with large shower. Lots of choices on breakfast menu and cooked freshly. Parking was easy. Location was excellent. 5 minutes walk to Lacock Abbey. Lacock is a very small place but very interesting."
