"I’m not sure how this hotel would be considered 5 star. There are absolutely no amenities... pool, gym, valet etc. I’d say solid 3 star. The restaurant server was very rude to us. Our room smelled like well water and the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever seen in any hotel. The location was no where near anything so we couldn’t walk… but the ocean view was amazing if you pay $700 for a good room. This hotel is no where near that price I promise you’ll be disappointed. "The hotel was clean and is a short walk to the airport, but they run shuttles every 15 minutes, so it was very convenient for us having an early morning flight. The dinner buffet was just okay, for the price I would have liked more options, but it was convenient as there were many options in the vicinity. If I ever fly out from Lisbon, I'll use this hotel again."

"The hotel is hugely overpriced for what it is. The pool area and restaurant/bar are nice but the rooms are tired with old, rough towels and very minimal AC. Nothing really in the way of luxury amenities which is a shame for the price. I would wait up to 10 mins to be able to get in a lift from the 6th floor to the lobby, with barely any AC in the corridor. While I stayed there it was noisy from an event in the nearby park, the maid service pretty much barged into my room when I said I didn’t...

"This is a nice hotel. Rooms were nice as were the general facilities and the breakfast was very good. There are a few quirks especially the open plan bathroom which won’t be to everyone’s taste. The roof top is nice although the number of sun loungers in full sunshine is a bit limited. Drinks are expensive compared to local bars and restaurants. The location is Estoril rather than Cascais but we knew that before booking. Estoril has more limited facilities and is undergoing a lot of development....

"We had a great time staying at the hotel. It has beautiful views and lovely staff, but except for one issue - on Expedia it says the hotel provides free airport shuttle bus but when we asked they say they don’t provide such services and asked us to order a uber which costed 40 Euros"

"Old school luxury. Pool was lovely and comfortable. Wish they did poolside service, but otherwise it was great. Amazing breakfast buffet. Lovely escape for couples or a solo traveler. Will go back!"

"Room was clean, but the coffee machine was of no use as there were no coffee pods neither any tea bags for early risers , staff Andre was very helpful , good knowledge about the city for guidance, excellent explanation with shared experiences. There was also free storage available and place to rest if your flight is late. This was really helpful. Everything was very convenient and close like groceries, cafes restaurants, metro station , train station. I will surely come back again ."
