"Less than 100m from the Duomo this room is in a fantastic location. The only issues to be aware of are that there are floor boards that are buckled that could be a hazard for some but it is only in one small area. Room is small but location makes up for it. The shower has good pressure and the free drinking water was appreciated. The bathroom is very small but adequate and be aware the lights come on whenever you open the door which is not ideal at night. Also note some rooms (not ours)...

"We absolutely loved our stay at Relais Luce! The location is a short walk from the SMN train station, but also walkable to most of the sights in Florence. There are tons of restaurant options as well. The room and bathroom were modern, well-appointed, and immaculately clean! Our room had a terrace with a table & 2 chairs where we enjoyed a glass of wine and the view in the evening. The common areas were also very nice, with a water refill station. "We had a wonderful time staying here! The space is huge and we loved the quaint furniture. There was so much space, the kids had their own space and there was a couch available to relax in after a full day walking in Florence. We loved the view of the Piazza out the window and people watching. We even got to hear a concert out our window. Simone was such a wonderful and caring host. She was super helpful and even called to get our taxi in the morning ready for our tours. We wish we had stayed...
