"Very well located by the "Promenade", as well as the Place Massena/soppinng district and Old Town, all of which within walking distance, this big property is convenient. The rooms are comfortable, but as the hotel in general, they are a little outdated, and would need some kind of modernization. The rooftop has superb views, but again would need some renovation (showers, access, bar etc). The gym is small and under-equipped. The spa was closed when I stayed there... "The hotel is beautiful and the amenities are great. Most of the staff was very friendly. There were two instances when walking back into the hotel after a day out that staff members approached and asked me what I was doing there and where I was going. When I stated that I was a guest of the hotel they looked surprised. I guess I don’t look rich enough"

"The location of this hotel is ideal as it is close to the beach and the train station. The staff is always pleasant and ready to serve. The hotel would need a refresh as its age is showing with dated rooms, old carpets in the rooms and common areas, elevators, decor, etc. Although the bed was a king size, the mattress is not comfortable and the air conditioning is not efficient considering the hot weather in Nice. We have been at this hotel in the past and would only return knowing that...
