"It would have been a little more helpful to find with a picture of the door. It’s a great location, once you can actually locate the building. Pack light; not great for having a ton of heavy luggage. The door was a little challenging to open but once you are settled in, the property is very clean and quaint. And Theo was a great help to helping me get situated. "

"We’ve used Hotels.com for years and have always had good experiences — until now. This particular booking was deeply disappointing. The apartment was nothing like the listing described, and certainly not worthy of the 5-star rating shown on the site. It was damp, smelled musty, and there were visible signs of moisture damage — possibly even mold. We tried to contact both the property and Hotels.com during the stay. "The apartment itself was clean, well equipped and peaceful. The outside spaces however were dirty - the front entrance had pigeon droppings all over it, the stairs were not swept and filthy. The apartments small balcony was full of pigeon droppings and there was an ashtray full of old cigarette butts - this was particularly annoying as everytime we put our towels out to dry on the line we ended up treading pigeon droppings into the apartment.
