"Location as others have said is very convenient to the ferry, Cathedral, restaurants, main harbor and shopping. Air conditioned which is a plus. There is a musty mildew smell at first (guess to be expected with heat and humidity) but room is very clean. 20 minutes downhill walk from train station. Rough with luggage. Take bus back. Bus stop short walk by harbor. "

"Daniel is the most lovely, kind and considerate host you could ever wish for. We felt like we were staying with family. The property is beautiful and the room was absolutely perfect with a stunning view over the lake. Daniel allowed us to safely park our car, he even made a reservation for dinner in a lovely restaurant which was 5mins walk down the hill. The breakfast was lovely. "Beautiful hotel. Staff is very friendly, beautiful garden. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Our bathroom was quite tiny though, with limited shelves and space to hang towels. Great restaurant, we had dinner there twice and very much enjoyed the food. This is the perfect location if you want to avoid the crowd in downtown Como."
