We had a lovely night at Tathya Hills - the staff were very helpful regarding our travel plans and also gave very good food recommendations. The room was lovely with a huge comfortable bed and a clean spacious bathroom. Location wise everywhere we wanted to go was within a short Tuk Tuk ride or walk.

Wonderful hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms, ours also had a balcony. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. The food is delicious and freshly prepared, there are Sri Lankan and Western options, all very tasty. The pool is delightful, the views from the cafe are great.

The views over the valley, the tea plantations and agricultural land are fantastic. The villa is set up on a hillside, about 3km out of town. It takes approximately a 10 min tuk tuk drive into town. The staff are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautifully presented, mostly made in wood and looking very smart. The room and bathroom were large, clean and well presented. The whole place is beautiful an dis surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Worth it for the pool alone. Lovely staff. Good food. Its a trip to get there and only with good weather for the roads but once there its like the garden of eden with a banging infinity pool and views over sri lanka

First of all, congratulations and well done to all the Fox resort Kandy. If you want to stay at a truly beautiful and pristine hotel in Kandy then Fox resort will certainly fit the bill. Perched on top of Richmond hill about 10 - 15 mins or so Tuk Tuk / taxi ride from hustle of the city (we paid between 600 - 800 LKR for most journeys in and out of the city). We stayed for three nights. Absolutely amazing hotel. Staff were amazing and specially we need to mention our butler, Sakunthala and she was great and made our stay extremely memorable and special. Food was amazing too. We wanted to see Kandy perahara and the general manager immediately contacted the manager from queens hotel Kandy, who got us excellent seats to watch the perahara. Staff were so friendly and made our trip truly enjoyable.

Very large room with amazing view from the balcony overlooking acres of land and the lake. High ceilings and very spacious room. The bathroom was just as big equipped with a very large bath and large shower. The decor is amazing, the air-con was great, the rooms were very clean and the bed was so comfy. Fantastic family hotel although a little away from town. Best part was the manner in which we were looked after by the very kind family. We had a superb vegetarian meal prepared home style by the family. Excellent housekeeping and the boy helper was fantastic- he went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. I would suggest that the place does NOT need a gym or swimming pool and the space with the bar etc is all wasted and that they are better off having rooms instead. Little out of town...

I booked two nights , beautiful room ,friendly stay, morning breakfast is one of best, we no need for queue for the food which table service one of the best experience, chef Mr Selvakumar personally ask about the food they served, I would recommend more them 100% to stay here, I will visit again and wish very best for the staff who help me all throughout the stay. Budget priced hotel in an excellent location near to centre but quiet. Excellent breakfast, lovely sitting area and attentive staff. Would recommend
