"Wonderful hotel with friendly staff!"

"Property has everyone a guest would want to spend their holiday with the biggest highlight being the pool with an amazing view to the Lion’s Rock. Location is a short drive to everything but you need to have a driver or take taxis to get around to anywhere including landmarks, restaurants (especially if hotel restaurants are closed), & cafes. They have many activities such as Paper Factory Visit, Pottery & Cycling all included in the stay. Staff was also very helpful which made the stay...

"Wonderful staff, peaceful place, nice breakfast"

"Stunning spot overlooking a lake where elephants have been every morning and evening of our stay (can’t see them that well in the evening!). Extremely friendly and helpful staff and the food they prepare , whether breakfast, or if you ask lunch or dinner, is extremely tasty and plentiful. We cancelled our plans and stayed an extra night it was that good. Cannot recommend enough."

"A singular property, this is a resort with a sustainable difference. We loved the open design of our suite, the expansive land and water elements, and wonderful service. Our butler, Yasori (sp) was so helpful, professional and kind. We look forward to returning again to this place of coexistence with the natural world. Thank you."

"I made a reservation for Hotel Topaz in NV , USA. When í checked in, reservation was for Hotel Topaz in Sri Lanka. BIG MISTAKE!!!! Please cancel this reservation and Do NOT charge my credit card. Raymonde Shearer "

"Lovely staff, nice place, solid restaurant. Very cool pool. Let down by lack of accessible power points in the suites."

"Hotel staff very friendly and polite. Keen to make you feel welcome. Loved the pool/ bar area surrounded lush vegetation. Great stay."

"The biggest thing that strikes you is the lovely stunning environment and very villa as its gated with 24 hours security. We felt at home. The two caretakers are simply warm helpful and very professional. The neighbours were helpful . I had such a wonderful stay! 🌟 The space itself was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. I felt a warm welcome upon arrival, which instantly made me feel at home. The stunning surroundings were the perfect for a relaxing stay, and every detail...

"Excellent management team and in a very peaceful & tranquil surroundings "

"The Grand Argyle Resort & Villas was a beautiful location. Our room was very clean and spacious. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. There was a pool table located upstairs and an outdoor pool, however, it was not clean enough to enter. We did enjoy walking around the property and site seeing. The area offers spectacular views! I would recommend this hotel to others! "

"Hotel and staff were absolutely amazing. So relaxing and beautiful. Would recommend, the scenery is beautiful, staff go out of your way to help you. Food was wonderful"

"Fantastic property and fantastic experience. We have nothing but high praise. Loved the family unit with the tent on top and separate room downstairs for the kids. Here’s a word of warning though regarding getting there….its not an easy ride up from the village on a very narrow very poorly maintained road. Not for the faint hearted. It also takes a good 30 minutes especially if you need to use the tuk tuks to get up."

"This property is meticulous and staff is so attentive. Beautiful surrounding and views!"
