Search Castles in Puerto Aventuras

My partner Leanne & I had a wonderful time in Puerto Aventuras and the other areas of the region we were lucky enough to visit. The locals were very friendly and even with my poor Spanish communication was not a major issue. At no point anywhere we went did we feel insecure or unsafe. It is such a culturally rich and beautiful part of the world, it is difficult to do it justice with words. The place we stayed, Club Aventuras in Puerto Aventuras was spectacular. The condo was huge, modern and...

Petit Lafitt was perfect for what we wanted. We had toured Mexico City, Merida, Tulum and finally Playa Del Carmen. We were aware this area would be very different to all those I'd mentioned before so opted for somewhere that would be more homely than the larger resorts. It did not disappoint, food was freshly cooked every night rather than a buffet. You had two options and the menus changed daily for both breakfast and dinner. The beach front bar served a lovely lunch if you decided to have an...

Beautiful house very homely! Gorgeous room, lots of storage and comfy bed. Couldn't wait to explore the resort where Picalu was based. Only 5 minutes walk to the beach which was absolutely stunning. At lunch we used the convenience store oxox and at night time we tasted lovely food served in the restaurants. At Piculu our room and shared bathroom was cleaned every day. Breakfast was served every day and we enjoyed that it wasn't a fixed time although we never had it later than 930! We enjoyed...

Top draw holiday, could not fault anything. Clean, superb staff, great pools, top facilities. Would highly recommended for everyone.

Loved the hotel - fantastic food, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful room and view, with a well-equipped gym and relaxing spa. I highly recommend treatments from the wonderful Nestor at the spa- the seaweed wrap and hot stone message with reflexology were especially good. So relaxing! The only downside is the Dreams Dolphin Discovery - I just don’t agree with breeding cetaceans in captivity - rescue/sanctuary yes; captive breeding to live in captivity no. It’s the only thing about the place...

We stayed here March 2016 - what a lovely hotel. Small beach with loungers for hotel guests great snorkelling from the beach. Husband went diving from the dive shop next door and had the best dive he has ever had! He saw turtles, lobsters the size of small dogs, sting ray and an abundance of fish and coral. Lovely food in the restaurant too from their 'new' menu. We wished we had stayed longer.
