Me gustó mucho la temática de las amacas, hay mucha tranquilidad en el hotel, la única área de mejora sería en lo del desayuno porque nada más hay café.

I appreciated Christian’s hospitality. He was both polite and professional. I also appreciated him carrying my extra heavy suitcase all the way up the stairs. A handsome guy with a great attitude. Though the hotel doesn’t have an elevator, the bed was comfortable and view from my balcony was great. Whole hotel was spotlessly clean.

Nice location, however know that it’s a good uphill trek from the beach and bars. Room was nice with great views, bed was a little firm.

There was construction in the next room. I asked about moving and the front desk did not try to change our room. The room had no balcony or access to outside. The bar tender was not friendly in rooftop. But otherwise it was clean and adequate. Location was good

We were given a room on the third floor, and although the room was nice, we were not told there would be construction happening on the penthouse, which was directly above us. The construction happened until early evening and began again mid morning. Also, the drain in the shower did not drain very well so by the end of your shower, you would be standing in about an inch and a half of water. The employees were very kind and and we’re very very good at accommodating us, as English speakers and if I weren’t for the construction, we would’ve really enjoyed our stay.

For me the most important thing is cleanliness and comfortable beds. The staff clean the place very consistently and the beds are the best I’ve ever been in at a hotel. The price is also very reasonable. Being a hill does make for some cardio but it also means that it is quieter at night when you want to sleep. 10/10 would absolutely stay here again

I have enjoyed staying here in the past, but my room this time was not very good. Yes, it was inexpensive, but the view was nonexistent, and truly the draw of staying up there is the view. Also, no free bananas anymore. I do recommend staying there usually, but I guess my old legs finally gave up climbing the stairs to the top of the hill, and in the hotel. I wish the staff the best, they are great, and Puerto Vallarta is beautiful from the roof!

The property and staff are nice. The property is up the hill a bit but Ubers are cheap and downtown is a 3 min walk. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a small rooftop bar and pool area. It sounds like they have some upgrade plans for that area. As it sits, the pool area is a nice place to enjoy a sunset. I would stay there again. The only reason to not stay here is if you physically can’t climb stairs.

Wasn’t what I expected but to be fair I had not truly looked at the listing for that area I anticipated it to be a little note-worthy. Friends were booking there unexpectedly due to the hurricane knocking power out, so grabbed a spot and rushed there. The next eve the power ( fans/fridge/etc) went out about 5:00 pm by 10 am the next morning no change so I called around to see who had service and asked to check out early. Without me asking they immediately said they could give me a voucher and I could give it to a friend/family. It’s just not a place that I could recommend to either. It’s a shabby chic/grunge vibe but that may work for some. To enter there immediate steep stairs and to get transported there they are on top of a hill. Below are other places to eat but be in a hill mood. There’s a young lady at the front desk- I believe her name is Alison, she’s kind, energetic, personable and probably the highlight of that stay.

Hotel Encantador
Es uno de los mejores hoteles donde me he hospedado en Puerto Vallarta. Tiene todo el encanto de un hotel boutique de primera en la Riviera Mexicana. La habitación en la que estuve es amplia, cómoda e incluso tenía una hamaca en el interior que me pareció un detalle muy cool. Todos fueron muy amables y atentos, pero quisiera agradecer de manera especial a Ramsés que me ayudó con una solicitud especial que tuve para tener una reunión de trabajo. El único detalle que me parece que es muy importante para alguien que pueda tener movilidad reducida (o que no le guste subir escaleras) es que el hotel está construido sobre la montaña y no tiene elevador. Hay que subir y bajar escaleras todo el tiempo; desde para entrar al hotel, llegar a tu habitación o subir a la terraza donde está la alberca. Son sólo 3 pisos, pero para alguien de edad avanzada, puede ser pesado. 100% recomendable. Espero poder regresar pronto.

Hotel is located in quoet area of RZ, near the Pinnacle properties. There is no elevator so be prepared to get lots of exercise going up and down the stairs. There is a funicular you can use to get to Olas Altas street where there are lots of restaurants, cafes, access to beach, etc. If the funicular isn't working be prepared to walk lots of stairs to get to hotel from Olas Altas street. Our room was basic and met our needs - spacious shower, decent water pressure, great a/c unit, fridge, nice and comfy beds and pillows. Hotel location is really great. There is a very small pool on the rooftop, with a small bar as well. Nice place to hang out a bit. The staff work very hard to make this place an enjoyable stay for you.
