"It's a modern hotel with modern rooms and a friendly front desk staff. The negatives are that there is no chair or table or luggage rack in the rooms, and the breakfast was a very small set meal, by far the smallest breakfast among eight hotels that we've stayed in while in Vietnam."

Booking through Expedia was a terrible experience because we were not warned that we would be staying in rooms owned by private individuals, rather than the hotel itself. I blame both Expedia and the Flamingo for this. This meant the staff was unable and unwilling to help us with basic things like laundry, gym service, or check-out. The prices here were inflated, and they were nickel-and-diming us for everything, such a using the fitness...

"The hotel staff were very helpful. They upgraded our room for free. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to a typhoon, but the staff were very caring and helpful, making sure we had transportation arranged to get off of the island. Convenient location close to many restaurants."
