It’s located in a very peaceful and tranquil residential area and a 15 minute walk to the wharf shops and other attractions The rooms were all very modern as was the bathroom with a nice size stand up shower and lots of drawer space for a couple Just a delightful place with such friendly hosts We will be back!!!!"

"Clean room. Great breakfast. Good service. Parking is limited especially for large vehicles. Its a 200 year old building so as cool as that is, you must expect it not to be modern inside. It was close to everything to see in Newport so it worked well for me."

"Lovely stay at Yankee Peddler for two nights while we visited Newport. Easy check-in, cute rooms, front desk were very helpful in resolving our heating issue and on-hand to answer any questions we had. Continental breakfast was standard with cereal options, muffins/pastry, oatmeal and fruit (I'm there for the fruit) and available for a good duration. "Classic B&B with well furnished rooms in an older house. Bathrooms are private though small. Hosts are capable and welcoming. Breakfasts are home-cooked and served at family style table. "

"Laurence and John were gracious hosts. This is one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed at! Our room was lovely and immaculately clean which I really appreciate. In fact the entire house is immaculate. Laurence makes divine breakfasts and service was outstanding. We didn't really need and lunch. Don't miss the complementary wine and cheese at 5:00pm!
