"Bed very comfortable, good view and location. Black mould in the windows, hot and stuffy, had to ask for toilet paper and soap, crack and hole in the bathroom sink which didn’t drain, shower just shut off mid shower, coffee pot didn’t work, housekeeping took all the plastic glasses away and didn’t replace. "Good clean little hotel as a stop over before heading out to San Josef. A bit dated like returning to the 80s, but it's kept very clean. Front desk was helpful and nice. Price was reasonable for the town but feel it's a bit much for what it is."

"The hotel was very nice with so much beautiful artwork. We bought a lot from the art shop. The room was nice. The only comment we would make is the length of our stay. Almost everyone in the hotel came off the 16 hour ferry ride from Prince Rupert. It is an exhausting trip and we didn't even arrive at the hotel until after 1am. We woke up at 9am next day so we could have some breakfast which wasn't included. When we asked for an hour extension on the room, the office staff said it wasn't...

"Room was comfortable with mini fridge and a microwave. Beautiful view! Very convenient-1 km- drive into town, and on a nice walkway along water and to nearby estuary with many birds. The restaurant was closed for renos; opening soon. Front desk staff friendly."

"Very quiet and easy to out to other places"

"We had a beautiful room with a balcony facing the water. We were treated to a pod of dolphins and an orca viewing in the morning. Warm and friendly home base for exploring Alert Bay. Walkable from the ferry as we went on foot. Quiet on a Sunday but exactly what we were after. We missed the summer crowds and felt like we had the bay to ourselves. Highly recommend hanging your hat at the inn."
