The walls and floors are so thin we could hear every word our upstairs neighbors said. It's the only place to stay in Port McNeill so it's too bad it's so poorly maintained."

"After a motorcycle ride up the highway to Port Hardy from Courtenay, we were greeted by a lovely front desk agent. She was friendly and had a great sense of humor. She gave us recommendations for a great Margarita nearby, gave us our key to a 3rd floor room. Much to our surprise all of the rooms are oceanfront and ours had a little outdoor deck to enjoy the views and sounds of ocean birds and seals playing in the water. "We really appreciated this hotel for a 3-night stay to visit Port Hardy, Sointula, Alert Bay, etc. It had everything we needed and more. Our room was spacious, clean and functional. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchenette was modern and efficient with a near full size fridge, wow! The bathroom was a nice size with large countertop to place items. Hot water and water pressure were excellent. We were even allowed to use the laundromat machines during the time period allowed, wow! Bernie...
