Upon arrival after traveling all day, we found what clearly appeared to be blood on the couch. It took approximately an hour for staff to replace the affected cushions, and afterward, their response was simply to tell us to “have a lovely night.” Only after we specifically requested some form of compensation were we offered one complimentary dinner. We also requested a room upgrade but were told it could not be accommodated because the resort was at 90% occupancy. The following morning, we discovered what initially appeared to be blood stains on the bathroom mirror. We were later informed that the marks were caused by rust developing inside the mirror. Although they were not blood, the mirror’s condition added to our concerns about the room’s maintenance and whether it had been thoroughly inspected before our arrival. Additionally, the tables in the third-floor restaurant visibly needed cleaning, further reinforcing our concerns about the property’s overall standards. For a five-star resort, the response was extremely disappointing. We continued requesting a room change or upgrade, but nothing was offered until our third night. Even then, the proposed room was not an improvement, so we declined it. Although the staff were friendly, management’s response was unhelpful and did not reflect the level of care, urgency, cleanliness, or service expected from a five-star property.

Staff were welcoming and couldn’t be more helpful and communicated really well. the room was always clean, tidy. The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet with minimal noise. Staff too really good care of me, making sure I ordered my daily breakfast and the free transport was very convenient and available every day.

The room was always clean and done daily. The staff were soooo friendly and always had the biggest smiles on their faces, was if they were family! Lots of shops and restaurants near by in walking distance and you can order food through the villa also if you just want to stay in. The pool was amazing and soooo clean. Overall the trip and stay at Bali cozy villa was amazing and am already planning my next trip back to Bali 😎

We had an amazing stay at Awila Villas during our first trip to Bali. The location was perfect—close to the airport and central to everything, yet still a quiet and private hideaway from the busy nightlife. The pool was the ideal place to cool off after big days of exploring, and the kids absolutely loved it (so did the adults!). The rooms were spacious and everything was in excellent working order. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the dry cleaning service was super convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond throughout our stay. They even surprised our son for his 9th birthday with balloons and a cake in our villa while we were out for the day, which meant so much to us. We truly had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to return for another stay!

Always a fantastic stay at Bali Mandira. Great location, pools and service. Fantastic for families or just on your own. We go every year!
