"I stayed at El Delfin Lodge from 4/19–4/24 and overall the experience was disappointing. At check-in, the manager mentioned that during spring break they kept nearly every guest’s deposit due to damages, which seemed extreme at the time but made more sense by the end of our stay. The biggest issue is that the property does not match how it’s presented on Expedia. The photos appear outdated as the hotel looks much more worn in person. "Right on the beach"

"The room was very nice and super clean. I had to go downstairs to grab towels and batteries for the tv remote control. The staff were accommodating and friendly. Breakfast had a good variety. Air conditioning worked great. Carpets in hallways looked a bit aged and lots of ceiling watermark damages on the 2nd floor. For a weekend stay, the price and service was nice."

"We were changed rooms two separate times due to urine smell in one room and damp bed sheets in another. General manager was helpful but questioned our worries. One Front desk workers were passive aggressive when asked for help. "

"I've stayed at many different Home2suites and this one in South Padre Island is hands down the best. Exceptional staff, house keeping does a phenomenal job as well as the maintenance staff. Someone is always cleaning inside and outside the property. Beautiful, clean pool with immaculate bbq's. Fitness center is clean and all equipment in working order. Huge parking lot.
