My husband and I booked The Public because we were in town for NY Design week on a work trip, and although we expected the room to be small we didn't expect everything else to be sub-par. "We had a wonderful stay at Nester Finn. The location is truly fantastic - everything is within walking distance. The building is a beautiful older high-rise with a great rooftop terrace that was often empty. You get a fantastic panoramic view. The apartment was simply but nicely furnished. It had everything we needed and was cleaned every day. There were always fresh towels. We were even able to work out at the gym for free. The room was mostly quiet, but sometimes you can hear the garbage truck...
