"We visited Auckland for my birthday. On arrival I asked for an upgrade. Although the hotel was busy, we were offered a suite for an extra $80 per night. We also loved the amenities in the room, the free coffee maker, included milk in the fridge, free waters, and free laundry was so helpful. The restaurant was really nice too. "The staff! All of them! At the front desk, the restaurant and The Churchill! Absolutely incredible team. Felt so welcomed by all. The bed is lush, the pillows amazing! Room a bit smaller than anticipated but for the price was great value. Only downside is the soundproofing and heavy doors slamming when people came in and out of rooms."
