This place was absolutely amazing, so accommodating. Staff is so hospitable. I did not want to leave. The rooms were very clean. 100/10 I would highly recommend! Will be visiting again.

Overall, my stay was pleasant. The staff was attentive, and the customer service was top-tier. Even though there was sometimes a language barrier, the staff still did a great job communicating and making guests feel welcomed. There were a lot of food options to choose from, and the drinks were well balanced. The buffet food was okay, but I found the restaurants to be much better and would recommend making reservations there when possible. The resort has trolleys that drive around every 5–10 minutes, which is convenient. However, they can sometimes fill up quickly. I personally found it easier to walk to most places rather than wait for the trolley. One thing to expect is a delay during check-in. Because so many people arrive at once, the line can take around 30 minutes or more. The staff does move as quickly as they can, but it’s something to be prepared for. My only issue was the cleanliness of the room when I first arrived. However, when I reported it, housekeeping addressed the issue immediately, which I appreciated. I would also recommend bringing U.S. dollars, as they tend to have more value and are easier to use than pesos in many situations. Overall, I would rate my experience 8 out of 10. I would return to the resort area again, though I might try a different resort next time.

Beach was great, Expedia’s booked room was for ocean view, property does not have ocean view. Housekeeping keeps forgetting towels. Room smelled like heavy bug spray upon arrival. Front desk did not respond at night. Lack of music around pool. Lack of communication for activities. Food was good, not authentic.

I paid for the platinum honeymoon package. When i got there, they charged me the full price AGAIN for my wife! They said it was because i had an “extra person” with me. It’s a HONEYMOON! That means 2 people! Who goes on a honeymoon alone! Then, while we were there, housekeeping left our room door open with all our stuff inside. After talking with security, they conveniently blamed us. The room had a round bed, which sucks if you’re 6ft 2” tall. There was a TV in the bedroom, but nothing in the living area, which felt odd.

Beach fantastic—but reserve umbrella chaise lounges with pool towels before 8:00AM. Grounds wonderful. Architecture classy. Room solid. Food mediocre to suck. Juice watered down. "Coke" watered down. Drinks watered down. Weird corn kernel "pizza" had no tomato sauce. Steak cheap. Ribs strange. Wine bitter. Got either food poisoned or water poisoned—three days of diarrhea. Latin dance nights in courtyard fun. Lounge singer good. Karaoke OK. Michael Jackson show OK. Circus show OK. White Dance Party OK. Silent Disco OK. Stay was soured by greedy, scamming management: I paid the price on Expedia for two guests, but accidentally only booked for one, and front desk refused to approve an obviously simple mistake and insisted on charging an extra $1,020 for 5 nights for my wife—who had already been paid for. They won't screw you over if they can't, of course, but if they can, they will. It's so bad, mgmt must get a cut for squeezing guests for extra. Made my case three separate times to three separate employees; each time they went in the back room and pretended to talk with manager. Came back with lame excuses I had to laugh. Expedia chatbot guys from India were no help: "We can't overrule resort policy." My fault for bad booking; their fault for not cutting any slack. Don't make same mistake cuz it'll ruin your faith in humanity—not to mention your vacation.

Overall i give this a solid 4 star. The beach and location were 5 star but food was just so so and like most all inclusive the alcohol was bottom shelf. The buffets didn’t have a ton of selection but rather the same foods over and over in different sections. The sit down restaurants were actually pretty good. We love the Italian(not referring to the pizza place Focacia) along with the Indian cuisine was really good. They also have a Cafe that does espresso that was great and they had awesome crepes and waffles there. Additionally by the food trucks each day they did more of an authentic Dominican meal options that was made fresh and it was always one of my favorites. The staff for the most part were really good with only a few that weren’t great. The resort itself was really nice, nice finishes and ambiance and i understand being on the ocean and with the high humidity its hard to keep things up but there could be a bit more attention to detail in the painting of the rooms and cleaning. Again overall it’s a solid 4 stars and i find it very difficult to give a 5 star to any resort or hotel. My wife and enjoyed our stay and would go back especially when you look at the cost compared to other resorts.

First the bad. The main restaurants reservations availability is lacking. They need add more availability. The 24/7 bar food is not the best and should at a minimum include pizza. The Ice Cream shop is only open from like 6 pm to 10 pm...But the Ice Cream is fantastic. Now the good. The property is amazing, the staff are fantastic and are very friendly. The food at the main restaurants is fantastic!! The food at the food trucks is very good. And of course the drinks are off the hook!!! The grounds crew are simply amazing, they keep the property sooo clean. We will be back

The view from the hotel was absolutely beautiful — the beach and pool area were amazing and definitely the best part of the stay. However, the hotel could really improve in a few areas. The cleanliness wasn’t great, the service was lacking, and unfortunately the food was not good. With better attention to these things, the experience could be much better.
