I will NEVER EVER stay here again. I absolutely love the Dominican and travel there often. Lets begin with check in, so unpleasant with nasty and rude attitudes that they basically were belittling me and people were staring. I let that go but everything closes at 5pm and the staff were rude to my son to the point that on our second night he asked me if I can change our flight home to be that night. I had my wristlet grabbed and all of a sudden was told to go back to our room and look again… when we got there guess what room was being cleaned at 10am which never happened and wristlet was back on the counter where my husband looked twice. I was shown video but when i asked for later that was denied. The drinks are watered down too much. The restaurants are nowhere near what they say as the buffet doubles as two restaurants. I was soo upset here that i requested Expedia move us and they did the same night. Nothing felt better than heading to checkout at 10:30pm and telling them to pound sand! Lopesan was only worried and friendly when we decided we had enough of them and the condescending rude staff. The ocean is just a bunch of boats you can smell the gas, pools were not quite as they made it seem. The resort states 2nd largest but there was no way it was. Nightlife was dead!!! On day 1 the shows were basically women showing their butts the whole time and instrument playing day 2. We happily moved down to Caribe Melia and had the most amazing rest of our vacation.
