"The property is just as described... four cozy A-Frames (5th being built), owned and operated by a very lovely family.
Highlights: The gardens and home cooking are every bit as good as all the other reviews attest! We also enjoyed the jungle trek.
Challenges:
It's hard to criticize a place when the cost is so low. But worth noting a couple of points; A/ this place is very remote! Best if you have your own transportation (bike). Grab is about 200k to the Munduk waterfall trek each...

"Heel vriendelijk personeel! Prachtige locatie, het uitzicht vanop je platform is niet altijd zoals op de foto’s. De plastic is ook een beetje verkleurd dus dit weerhoudt het uitzicht ook wat. Houdt er rekening mee dat er in de jungle natuurlijk veel insecten zijn, deze kunnen ook op je kamer zitten omdat de planken vrij open zijn en de deur is niet helemaal tot op de grond. Leuke ervaring!"

"The staff were extremely friendly and helpful — whenever we had a problem, they solved it within 10 minutes. When we went on day trips, they prepared breakfast for us to take away. We ordered our breakfasts the day before, and in the morning they came to the villa to prepare everything fresh. The villa was very clean, although it could use a bit of renovation. "We had a great stay at Vije Boutique Resort & Spa. The service was excellent, and the housekeeping staff were wonderful throughout our visit.
A special mention goes to Nirmala at the reception. She was very easy to talk to, made us feel truly welcome, and patiently explained everything we asked about with kindness and professionalism. My wife’s mood was lifted every time she saw Nirmala at the front desk.

"Beautiful villa where a lot of details were thought of. Staff is extremely caring and attentive. I had early check in and late checkout with no problem. Things I would want to improve : towels and hair drier, they need to be more premium quality ."
