"I have seen some not so great reviews for this place elsewhere and i find them unfair. This place has only been open for 2 months and i think they are on track to be a super success. Rooms are comfortable and the host are WONDERFUL. Some people have complained about proximity to other things ...this place is a bit by itself but penida doesnt really have a booming town anywhere so i dont think its location matters, plus you will likely be renting a scooter once on the island anyway...apit handles...

"It was very convenient since the property is near plenty of restaurants and diving centers. And the ocean view from the place is so beautiful. Only disadvantage is that the walls were so thin. So, be prepared to hear the wave sounds all night, roosters crowing all morning."
"Our stay was amazing at the bungalow! Things just to keep in mind is you are in the middle of the jungle so we did find a lot of ants in our room and some other bugs but nothing that overly affected us. Other than that the rooms were in tip top shape and the staff was amazing. It is on a mountain so ask the receptionist about delivering food, it wasn’t overly expensive as well. They brought dinner and breakfast right to your door and we’re so kind. Would definitely stay again!! :)"

"I booked a stay at this hotel, but when I arrived, there was no one available to check me in. I had to knock on doors and ask other guests if they had a contact number for the reception. When the receptionist finally arrived, I was told all the rooms were occupied, and my booking was transferred to another hotel. I was informed that I'd have to move back to the original hotel the next night. I requested to cancel the second night and get a refund but haven't heard back yet. I ended up checking...

"It was very clean, the room worked. The property was very nice. There is a pool. It was very close to our diving shop. But I had to ask for a hand towel every day, to dry my hands after washing them. I didn't want to use our bath towels. "
"Location was awesome and grounds were beautiful. It was less than 5 minutes from the dive shop we used, easy to walk to (even with our luggage that we brought with us from th dive shop). But plumbing was broken in our room, and though facilities tried to fix it, they were unsuccessful and had to move us to another room. The other room was larger, but close to the front of the property and nearer to the beach but with that, the live band noise. The breakfast food was just OK. The staff was however amazing - got us on an earlier ferry when I realized my flight out of Bali was a few hours earlier than I had planned for. Kudos to the staff, amazing. "
