"From check In to check out it was an amazing experience. We were there to visit San Francisco and San Jose, the location was a perfect midway point between the two cities. The room/lodge itself was clean. We found the beds very soft and comfortable. The shower was hot. The pool/hot tub were great especially after walking so much (Alcatraz, lol). The staff was incredible! I don't know if I will be able to write it correctly, to do them justice. Very welcoming, great suggestions for area restaurants/events, professional and authentic. For example, I requested an extra blanket. When housekeeping came up in less than 5 minutes, he had options to make sure I was all set. It was really the small things that seemed to set this hotel apart from others. We would stay here again without hesitation. "

"We liked everything in this hotel: the staff, the cleanliness of the room, the british-themed atmosphere. The only ler down was the breakfast. It was definitely not as good as the reviews stated. Not many options and basic items missing: cream cheese, potatoes/hashbrown, decaf coffee. "

"Perfect location at the center of things, but quiet. Huge room. Very clean. Loved the breakfast at a local cafe. Beautiful garden and grounds and the wallpaper and decor throughout was special. One small complaint was that the water didn't get as hot as it might have. Would stay again, though. "
