"We've been staying at Mansions on Fifth for several years now. We love the hotel and location. However, we were disappointed to learn this time that the absolutely wonderful breakfast that was offered earlier (for like $22) is not longer offered. Instead, for $15 you can get a pre-wrapped dried out croissant from some factory in Pittsburgh. Major disappointment. They have the facilities to offer breakfast, all they need to do is cook it."

"The shower had obvious mold (red and black). The bed was not comfortable and made a very loud squeaking noise any time you moved. The bathroom door had a lot of dust and residue on it. There was not a lot of counter space in the bathroom. The toilet paper was very very thin and cheap. When booking the site said free self parking—it was $22 a night on top of the booking price and they only have about 30 spots that fit compact cars. "I had to call for clean towels on the evening of the second day. I had the sign out because we had a late start that day. Gone by 9:00 am. Maybe housekeeping came through early and say the sign. Why can't they mark the room and come back after they are done with the other rooms. It should not take any extra time since they did not have to spend time on the first pass."

"Apt was great and spacious, its very convenient to Pitt and CMU but entrance is in a side street that feels like an alley and the immediate area doesn’t feel like a neighborhood so that was only downside. Literally 2 min drive to anywhere but prefer to stay where immediate area is more walkable lively community. For the price and space it was great though."

"The place is VERY nice and accommodated everything i had planned with my family. EVERYTHING was there. Beds were very comfortable and hot water in the showers. The kept in communication all the way up to the day leaving. I had family members who are thinking of using this place for gatherings. The pool table and dart board was a nice touch. "
