"Elevator was sketching. Building looks like they slapped some paint on it and called it good. Rooms were okay and bed was comfy. Terrible asphalt smell outside when you get to the property. Definitely felt the pictures on here made it look nicer than it was."

"Fantastic hotel! All our wedding guests stayed here! Loved the firer area on the patio for mingling & relaxing late in the evening! Only issue was the breakfast is not a buffet & the wait time was excessive for coffee & food! The staff were fantastic just likely when the hotel is full suggest adding extra kitchen help to accommodate timely service! Would recommend! It’s gorgeous!!!"

"Reservation was for King bed with sofa bed. Upon arrival there were rooms with King bed only. After waiting 20 minutes in lobby, we were assigned a room without a pull out sofa, which we need because there were 3 people. After 1 hour, they moved us at 11 pm to a new room with a King and sofa bed. Appears the Expedia reservation did not transfer fully to the hotel. Others base this issue as well"

"When we arrived the outdoor trash can was overflowing and garbage was blowing around the parking lot. We walked in the lobby and there was no one at the desk. We rang the bell and after several minutes someone finally came to check us in. She was less than friendly. Got into our room and the cleaning staff left everything to be desired. The furniture was dusty and the metal plate that the bedside light fixtures were attached to had crusty finger prints around the light switches. The bathroom...

"Stayed here last minute because of a volleyball tournament in Grand Rapids. Due to a remodel of some sorts they didn't have any breakfast just small muffins and donut holes of some kind. Room was seemingly clean until the shower... Mold on the ceiling and shower curtain. The mini fridge was lukewarm at best so that was disappointing for our drinks being warm for the following full day of games. Staff was very friendly, pool and hot tub were decent. "This was definitely a unique experience and was perfect for a quick visit to Grand Rapids for a work trip. You can walk to shops, amenities are all around, I was 4 minutes from the office and street parking was free and abundant. This was very similar to an Airbnb experience, self check-in and out without the list of tasks to do. The room was clean, bathroom was clean and the room had adequate supplies and a steamer, which was super convenient. It’s great if you need a quiet place to stay...

"Starting with Emily at the front desk, to the clean room with brand new carpet, to the clean pool and an impressive breakfast bar, we were impressed with this find in Allendale! Much to our dismay, we arrived in Grand Rapids only to find all hotel rooms in our budget were filled already due to a sports event. We drive a little further and happened upon this gem! Would definitely stay again."
