"I’m extremely disappointed with my stay at Aloft Sarasota. The bed in our room was stained with blood and covered in hairs when we arrived. It was absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable for any hotel, especially a Marriott property. To make matters worse, the phone in the room did not work, so when I tried calling the front desk to request clean bedding, I had to use my personal cell phone instead. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a few issues with hot water but that was resolved once we brought it up to the desk. My only downfall is that were a little further from the beach. But there is a ride service offered at the hotel so that helped tremendously. We loved the pool and the pizza truck right outside. Super reasonable and delicious"

"It was my third time at Magnolia and I enjoyed every time; however, it seems it went down the hill. Hotel and rooms are clean, water pressure fenomenal. Pool area is no longer enjoyable. Non guests are coming to use the pool with lots of pool toys and floaties, children are out of control. At least 3 maybe 4 groups a day specially on the weekend. They leave the pool at evening, pack their cars with coolers and toys an drive away. Pool is not maintain well anymore. "
