We booked though Expedia , a specific room type for the space , when we arrived we were placed into a different class of room. When I went to the front desk to inquire the women working was brutally rude and swore she upgraded me with a better view . "The place was like pictured. They could do some updating as far as the walls having lots of marks and scuffs but clean. I didn’t have face towels and took time to get them but they communicated and considering it being more of a virtual front desk I understand. I would have preferred a tv in the bedroom as well and not just the living room area. But my stay was comfy with pretty much everything I needed."

"The views from this hotel are among the very best in the city and its location is very central to so many things. We went to a comedian event at the Fox which was very close and the next day went to Eastern Market which was very close and convenient to get to from this hotel as well. Currently there is major construction going on on the main street of "Greektown." Additionally the Detroit People Mover was under construction and not operational (I wish there had been some warning of this). ...

"Great location, clean hotel and friendly, helpful staff. Bed was great, bathroom was a good size. No shower cap with the toiletries, if that's important to you. Parking was a bit pricey at $55 US/night for valet. The nearest self park is 3 minutes walk from the hotel. After checking parking reviews in the area, went with the valet option since I was only there one night. There are also some good food options within walking distance."

"Wonderful staff. Originally a 2 night stay, we encountered some car trouble on our way in and couldn’t check in on time. They held the room and reservation for us without any trouble. Great views and floor to ceiling windows. Smaller on the bedroom and bathroom side of things in our case, but both were updated to feel otherwise."
