Lots of young people because of the proximity to the university. Good shopping - a very large grocery "Rewe" just across the street (caution: closed on Sundays) and many bakeries which are open on Sundays for coffee and beautiful pastries. The immediate are around it is not the most picturesque of neighborhoods but it’s a nice walk to the river and the street trolleys can get you around from the station.
