"Lovely cosy hotel, great air con in the room.
Gets busy in the lawn grass area - but so fun to watch the boats and cows go by.
Breakfast was nice enough- the poached eggs were a little vinegary.
We had a lovely stay. The decor is so cool 😎"

"The hotel was situated in town centre. Walkable to the river, local attractions and restaurants.
We had a lovely stay and they have a small spa located next door which we used one morning.
We did not eat breakfast there so unable to comment on food, the rooftop bar was lovely for drinks.
Our door was difficult to open but staff were helpful and efficient."

"The staff at this hotel were very helpful. The front desk was wonderful and the reception area is nice and cool and air-conditioned. The hotel restaurant had good food, although the menu was not that clear.
It is a beautiful hotel, and the restaurant is in an inner courtyard, which is very lovely.
The trade-off was that this was a little bit far from the university and the places that we wanted to be walking around. Wouldn’t have been a big deal, except the weather was very hot this week so...

"Such a lovely hotel with lots of history, 8 minute walk to the town. Beautiful decor and extremely friendly and helpful staff from the reception staff to the bar staff. They upgraded our room for free due to a celebration booking and could not have been more lovely. Thank you!"

"Magnificent grounds, the approach on driving towards the Hall is stunning. It's a beautiful historic building with a very pleasant bar with lovely outdoor seating overlooking the grounds open until 10pm. Staff were polite, friendly and attentive. The breakfast was amazing. Lovely full cooked options and lots of fresh fruit with greek yoghurt and pastries etc ..

"Very pleasant staff.Spacious clean, comfortable room,good WiFi,good tv. comfy bed, an ample,comfortable sofa and lovely bathroom with good quality towels.Large walk in shower with ample hot water and flow.
Ample parking right outside the hotel with no extra charge to use. A Morrisons right next door which also had a filling station and 24 hour small shop.
The communal area had tv. screens so you could enjoy sports etc. and the self service buffet breakfast was good but the range of food apart...
