"Great way to experience a traditional ryokan. If you get a traditional room be aware you will be sleeping on the tatami without a real mattress. It was very firm. You can also book conventional beds for an extra charge I believe.
Staff was super friendly and helpful. Took our bags up for us, which was nice."

"Very engaging staff and nice and clean. The on-site onsen was heavenly. They were helpful in suggesting local spots - they took time to do little extras, such as teaching me calligraphy. The breakfasts were phenomenal- they worked with my fish allergy and presented a delightful montage of local foods. When I left my hoodie there on check out, they folded it nicely and quickly forwarded it to my next location."
