"The above ground parking lot is awkward. But the underground parking garage is spacious, though there's some water along one wall. The staff was nice. The front desk is staffed 24 hours. The lobby area offers filtered cold/hot water and coffee, teas, and hot cocoa. We happened to get an ADA room. The shower opening had no shower curtain. Water splashed quite far. Third of the bathroom floor stayed wet for quite a while. The inn is located on a busy street. The traffic noise including rushing...

"The property was clean the bed was comfortable but squeaked loudly. There was a super bright light right outside our window and the wooden shutters were loose so it was bright all night. We had a large whirlpool tub which was awesome and the water was a pretty clear blue color. Oddly though it left a weird orange ring in the tub....2 different bathers... possibly from their hotel mango shampoo in the lines? Fridge was nice.. never got turned on so food ruined.. I should have checked..AC was...

"This is my second time staying at the Colton Inn on a visit to Monterey. For me, it was important that it's located close to the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, but it's also within walking distance of lots of downtown/Old Monterey locations, including a drug store, Trader Joe's, cafes and restaurants, and the water front. Staff are always extremely helpful, I enjoy the breakfast (love that they have hard boiled eggs!), and always have a great stay here."

"The only thing I didn't like was the fact the my bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan, That bother me quite a bit. Pillows are not very comfortable, but other that that, I would definitely stay there again."
